Marie has been facilitating sessions at Zen-Space for a number of years. She realised the transformative potential of meditation about 20 years ago following a period of personal crisis that propelled her into exploring the awakening potentials inherent in meditative traditions.
Join Marie for this simple guidance in a shared space to explore meditation as a method of bringing us more mindfully into the present. The practice is to be open to what arises in awareness with gentleness, permission and curiosity.
These basic intentions enable us to develop both calmness (samatha) and insight (vipassana) into the nature of experience. This supports the cultivation of awareness, acceptance and compassion towards yourself and others.
